Is that a front camera I see under the blue oval? I could use that!

That is a built in "mouse habitat" !!!![]()
So it this supposed to be the engine cover that "protects" the back side spark plug?![]()
I agree on that , maybe a "Ford Performance" grill will come out and help with that ...The looks of that Maverick-type front end are exactly why I bought my 2023.
That's my problem with the 2024 too. The Raptor face looks great but those vertical pieces on the standard truck just look cheep to me.Yes front is ugly
Too many different plastic pieces
And no one-piece steel bumper anymore
I wonder how much Ford is charging for that if it isn't standard equipment. It's a quarter the size of the 5th gen cover. By Ford logic That means it's likely to cost at least $1,000.That is a built in "mouse habitat" !!!
If I recall, the e-brake has its own mini disc and caliper. When a conventional parking brake is applied, either lever or foot pedal activated, the brake pads staying on one area of the disc can prevent that area from cooling as fast as the rest of the disc and warp it. The e-brake is also used also as a hill holder on some vehicles-not sure about the 6G Ranger. Many familiar looking parts I saw. Storage under seat and dome light looks almost same as 5g. Like that they kept some manual controls under the center stack. Not big on the electronic shifter and e-brake. Doesn't look like they adopted the new direct and indirect injection 2.3 engine used in the 2024 Mustang either. Thought I read where the Bronco was getting it for 2024.
If Ford hasn't changed designs on their trucks, they have the electronics built into the main brake caliper. So basically just electronics actuating the brake caliper rather than a cable. If I recall, the e-brake has its own mini disc and caliper. 4:40 in I caught this quote:
"It is paired to a 10 speed auto, which Ford has really got sorted out... We have not had a 10 speed from them in a while that has had any issues whatsoever..."
I heard that and said, "Huh? What?"The bozo statement "has a little heritage with the Ford Pinto"....
The change in bumper design from 5G to 6G is the biggest backwards styling step IMO. Ironically, because of the bumper, the Raptor looks more like a 5G than a 6G to me...Yes front is ugly

but come on you get 1/4 of an engine cover and a Dampener! And still no damn split back seat. I know it’s still a pre production…but I did see trailer brake!
Bahahaha it has a dampener from the factory, now we know they are not watching this forum or care about their customers, next year we will probably see a lot new members here from the left coast asking what size lift and can I fit 265/ and will it scrub LOL
this should be good![]()
