My truck 4x2 Lariat seems to like speeds under 50 mph through beach towns along the coast. Several traffic lights and this picture shows half of the trip of about 40 miles. On return home trip the mileage lowered a bit but only down to 33.4 mpg.

My lifetime mileage is 24.6

100 miles all highway 70.5 mph average speed. Some slight grades not completely flat.
This is with 93 octane and a 5 Star tune. Significant power increase over stock with my foot in the turbo, but as good as stock mileage when cruising.

2020 Ranger 4dr, stx, 4x4 , tow and offroad package,bed cover ,, 5500 miles, 87gas always stock tune...
since passing 3000miles , mileage has gone up greatly.
Started at 21mpg now at 24+.
Driving in Ohio , country roads, max 55 mph[standard cruse] trips[100+mile] can get you 2+ more.
I use "D" in town as start/stop helps in town average, and freeway as rpm's are over 1500.
Otherwise use tow/haul. 55mph or under ,curves, mild hills ,keeping rpm's over 1500.
In "D" on highway has engine lugging down at 1400rpm or less , good for EPA test ,bad for milage..
Normal trip is 150ish miles [total] to pickup steel parts ..
Empty up , full back.
Weight total will be around 400lb up and 1200 to 1400 back.[payload is 1494lb]
Weight has little effect on MPG squat is around 2 1/2 +-.. ride is "tighter" but fine.
To get good mileage, easy on the right foot, keep engine 1500 to 2000 rpm, use cruse, at or below 70mph on freeways, "D" intown for start/stop and on freeways to get the top two gears[locked out in "S" and tow/haul]milage at last trip 1400 load was 26+ [have seen 28+- ] a time or two.

2021 Ranger XLt Crewcab with tonneau cover on. Did first scenic drive today 30 miles to and 30 miles home. Mostly 2 lane rural country roads. Averaged 29.6, at the highest it was 31.2. Very pleased.
