I drove 1600mi from AZ to SD going anywhere from 65 to 80 depending on posted speed limit and used cruise control for almost all of it and got a trip average of 26.9mpg.
2020 FX4 stock aside from bed cover.

Does anyone have data on an otherwise stock ranger 4x4 mpg but with a level kit installed?
Thanks!

Yeah that ! Example, I-35 W closed in both directions just south of Burleson this past Sat. Box truck towing a loaded lowboy trailer. sideswipes a big rig. Goes into the median and rolls. Splits the box truck open. All the lumber inside scattered as did the load on the trailer. Took hours to clean up.

I reset my avg mpg and drove ten miles going 65mph. I didn’t expect to get over 30. Truck does great on the freeways when you don’t speed ?

Last week I drove my 21 xlt from Louisville Ky to Philadelphia Pa and back. A little over 1400 miles. I set the cruise at 75 for most of the trip and my average mpg was 25.7.
It was very comfortable. No butt ache or back ache from the seats. I'm a big guy 6'1" 245lbs.
My old f150 used to kill me on that trip.

how high do you have your seat? I struggle with how to position the height. If I go up higher then I feel like I'm leaning forward. Right now i have it set it to the lowest position.

My 2019's mileage is all about wind, temperature, and hills.
Eastern IA is hilly and windy. Winters are cold.
I reset trip #2 each time I take my regular 106 mi drive east or west from our main home to the river house, or back. 70 mph. I've seen 18-29 mpg on the same route.
Wife and daughter took a 440 mi round trip to Minneapolis. 26 mpg.
...thinking the claimed 24 mpg avg highway is reasonable.

It ceases to amaze me then people boast their 30MPG average when they only drove 50 miles on that average.
Drive a couple of hundred(or thousand), THEN come back and post.

The point of this thread was going 65 mph getting 30 mpg and it was just a silly post. Not boasting about I have a truck that gets 30+ avg mpg

We did a road trip Aug 2020 in our FX4 SuperCab, about 9 hours of driving. What I'm finding is setting the cruise control @ 65 mph is the "sweet spot" for good mpg, we averaged 28 mpg (hand calculated).

Anything faster and the mpg stars to drop.
