As the subject asks, are they the same?

I bought a ford swing case to use my reward points and the instructions say to use galvanic corrosion protection compound with a spray in liner. I assume because you have to remove the liner material and will likely get down to bare metal in the threads, but not sure.

Can I use anti-seize, cause I have that.

I'm going to say yes.

I voted yes when I installed mine.

However, my train mechanic days taught me it's actually called "anti-sleeze."

the additives of nickle and copper are for specific instances.
just be sire what you're putting together is compatible.

as easy as the original question is to answer, the harder question is determining the type of anti seize for your application
I'm sure. But, I used the all purpose stuff ;) I thought I had some, but must have used it all, so I bought a tube at the local hardware store. I hope I sell the truck before it melts into a heap of corroded metal.

Quite true, nickel is suited for high temp and cast iron applications. Copper is a better candidate for general metals and is also more common at box stores.
