My 2019 would do that. I just chucked it up weather conditions. That would happen mostly in the morning when I was going to work. And I left the house at 6:00 AM. Since I'm now retired, I haven't had that issue.

I love (LOVE) the movie "Them". Poor Kate gets to watch it once every two years or so. I think that might be coming up soon!

Have you hit anything recently with the front of the truck? I had a collision that did next to no damage to my Ranger but it dislodged the ACC sensor in the grille. Took a good hard pull to get it back in place but that fixed my issues with the blocked sensor.

As for the map updates, you can go to Update Ford SYNC® & Navigation Maps | Ford Owner Support and put your VIN in. The maps cost $109 for a digital or $149 for a USB drive. Maps are WAY out of date, though. The one in my truck (not sure how old) tried to take me down a road that's been closed for about 20 years (2019 truck, so map can't be that old), so who knows when it really was last updated. I just use waze or apple maps unless my phone won't connect to car play for some reason.

No I just got the truck and there is no record of any accident at all so I am not sure what is going on, and the it is so random, it worked great the other day for 10 minutes then the warning came up and it stopped working again

Since you have the Lariat, you have ACC - Active Cruise Control, with ACC the system uses both the IPMA (Windshield) and the CCM (Bumper)
The (Sensor Blocked) msg relates to the CCM Module
The (Low Visibility) msg relates to the IPMA

Being that you just got the truck, and this is a intermittent message that pops up,

1. I suspect the CCM module is not secure in the bracket and bouncing around.
2. The CCM module has been displaced in the past, bumped, removed etc and was not aligned
3. The CCM has 2 alignments, a Vertical alignment (install) and a (Horizontal) alignment calibration with a scan tool.
4. Is the Bumper all - STOCK? or does it have any aftermarket modifications to it, such as added covers, winch mounts, lighting mounts etc, or Aftermarket Bumper that could be blocking the CCM view.
5. Has the truck been lifted/ leveled? or Larger Tires this could be throwing off the calibration and needs realigned and or recalibrated.

If you scan it for codes, it could help pinpoint down what the message is picking up as a fault.

I would check - Vertical Alignment and security of installation and also remove and inspect the connector to the unit for corrosion.

Note: The CCM has a cover installed that covers/protects the CCM, you have to remove the cover to get access to the actual CCM, cover has 2 pushpins, and the module is secured to the bracket with 3 Grommets Ensure the Bracket, Module and Cover are all secure and no debris between the module and cover.

Ref: This has to be completed with Truck on a LEVEL surface, the manual procedure utilizes an alignment rack

Then use Scanner - for the Horizontal (Alignment) calibration and then do a CCM Self-Test (Reset)

Possibly - post some pics of your Bumper and Front Fenders for a visual of what you have for other possibilities.

Other possibles - if the CCM is mounted and aligned calibrated - properly

1. The CCM Module itself is bad - its $400.00 parts, IPC calls it a - Distance Sensor
Possible P/N - Verify with Dealer - JX7Z-9E731-B

2. Power / Ground issue - intermittent drop

3. Can Bus Comm issue between the CCM & IPMA

Note: a popular spot to tap for power (Dash Cam) is by the IPMA,check connections for security as the previous owner may have had a dash cam.

Where does one get this tool to do alignments? Is it simply a small square tool will leveling?

EDIT - apologize for the edits, info at https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/radar-box-adjustment.8659/

I think Forscan can initiate the re-learn process.

Thank you I know that the tires are not OME and maybe larger that normal. I am wondering do I need to take the bottom cover off the front bumper to get to the CCM? and where do I get the tool to do the alignment?

The 1st step (Alignment) is just a simple (Como-Square) Tool, adjust it to Level (Vertical)
The 2nd Step - Is a Software Recalibration (Horizontal) of the Adjustment Made in Step 1, this requires a High Level (Bi-Directional) Scan Tool or Forscan (If Forscan) has this as an available tab. (I do not think it does) but could be wrong.

As long as there are no added covers from stock, you should be able to just reach through the opening to access the cover for the CCM - pull the cover will reveal the actual CCM (Module)

My 2019 once gave a warning and I found a huge dead insect splashed on the windshield in front of the camera.
And that pine needle doesn't help...

Now don't confuse the new kids... ?

When the cover of my CCM flopped forward I found an wasp nest stuck to it.
