Fox 2.0 rear install? I installed them like the video showed but The direction Show them installed upside down from the video. What’s the right way or does it even matter

Technically, on a monotube shock like the Fox 2.0s, orientation doesn't really matter.

We did barrel-down on our truck since that's what Fox's instructions said, and we didn't feel like arguing with the comment section.

On my personal F150, I go with barrel-up, shaft down.

Hydro shocks are a different story, since their valving is usually only one-way.

I have the fat part of the shock at bottom and skinny shaft part up towards frame

Thus, you have a barrel-down, shaft-up orientation.

Again, doesn't matter on a monotube like the Fox 2.0s.

According to Fox directions, body up.

I too just followed the directions in the box. I figure they know more than anyone how their stuff should be installed. ?‍♂

Usually I like to mount gas charged/monotube shocks shaft up because it keeps rocks from hitting them when flicking off of the tire. But it's doesn't matter.

Anyone put fox 2.0 coil over on front? Do you need a Front end alignment?

The toe will be out a ton, you may want to do a quick and dirty adjustment with a tape measure before you drive it to an alignment shop.

I like to put one, one way and the other the opposite.

It doesn't matter. I installed Eibach with the metal tube at the bottom because I didn't want to see a guady rubber boot.
