That should be the fairly obvious, I don't have it right in front of me, but as a first time user of Forscan, I was able to find it pretty easily. IPC sounds about right from memory.Anyone with access to a truck and FORScan... could you look to see which modules control the gauge cluster? I want to see if I can add the “climate” tab to the truck.
We don't have door modules. So, any current Forscan changes are not available to modify. I'm talking to people who have a better knowledge of as built to try and figure it out.Has anyone did the auto folding mirror when truck is shut down. I no it can be done in the F-150
Thanks
Not an option for Lariat either. That should be the fairly obvious, I don't have it right in front of me, but as a first time user of Forscan, I was able to find it pretty easily. IPC sounds about right from memory.
If you have a Lariat, the climate tab should already be there no? My wife has a 2011 Edge, and it's present on hers.
My Lariat has the power folding mirrors, what module are you referring to,We don't have door modules. So, any current Forscan changes are not available to modify. I'm talking to people who have a better knowledge of as built to try and figure it out.
All as built changes are done in the door modules for other Fords for auto folding. Rangers do not have those modules. So, the as built can't be used to enable auto folding mirros... No one knows which module controls them on the Ranger yet.My Lariat has the power folding mirrors, what module are you referring to,
I understand, thanks for the reply. All as built changes are done in the door modules for other Fords for auto folding. Rangers do not have those modules. So, the as built can't be used to enable auto folding mirros... No one knows which module controls them on the Ranger yet.
I was playing around with the button at lunch, I think this might be a case of needing to physically press the button to actuate a relay, no software involved. The reason I say that is that there is a clear delineation between folded and unfolded, there's a depressed and raised setting on the actual button. If I remember correctly in my Raptor, it was a momentary press of a button that triggered the fold or unfold. I hope I'm wrong though...Anyone have a way to monitor module activity on the vehicle? Communications between the BCM and other body modules? If so we could see which one is requested when the fold command is executed.
