No dealer in my area will allow me to buy parts with the points, I don't really care about the
points.

There are a few dealers who will let you use them for online orders. I bought my battery maintainer and some air filters with mine.

You might need to educate them on how to redeem the points. The parts counter @ my dealership didn't know how. So they internally billed them to service who had the ability to redeem the points.
