There's 20% off this at the moment so $762 including installation. Will this void my extended warranty which runs to 100k? Also, I use premium gas anyway, but am unsure from reading the threads whether gas mileage will increase or decrease. I've just gone up a tire size to 265/65/18 and it's now a little sluggish, hence why I'm considering the tune.

Damn. You feel a difference going from 60 to 65s???

You'll get different responses in terms of the FPT voiding the warranty....majority will say you're ok.

As far as the tune itself, go for it. You'll love it. I don't know that I've noticed any significant changes in MPG (I also use 93) but it shifts way better and has more pep. My only regret is not doing it sooner.

I don't suppose you'd share who has it for 20% off?

The warranty is good for 3 years/36,000 miles from the date of the tune installation, as long as that does not go longer than the normal (extended) warranty.

I have not heard anyone getting warranty issues denied because of the tune. But, as always, YMMV.

yeah I'm at 38k now so I assume there's zero "official" warranty

I'm not seeing that price when I go there. Even after signing in, $900 + $42 installation.

Try SHOP125 code on the checkout page (you can do that without committing to purchase)

but you have an extended warranty, right? So this would allow your extended warranty to 74000 miles (cutting your 100000 by 26000).
So I would have the FP tune covered to 74k?

Your warranty would be in tact until 74,000 miles. Then, technically, your warranty would no longer be in effect for the engine/transmission. Whether your warranty claim would be denied is another question.. Like I said, I haven't heard of anyone being denied because of the FP tune. Its fairly conservative.

If it were me I'd contact both the Ford Performance(from their site by phone or chat) & warranty service & get it in writing.

As for the tune, I do recommend it. Power increase is great, I loved the way 10 speed shifted before the tune, but even more afterwards. I got mine from Stage 3 Motorsports while back & it was below Ford Dealer cost, shipped.

Edit: Fuel economy I don't think have dipped with mine, but I have lead foot.
