it is using the PID data , as if you hook up a scanner this is what you see.Why would they change the fuel level from how full the tank is, to how much “range” you have left (in miles for me), to a percent?! How am I suppose to know what my range is when it’s say @ 10%? This isn’t an electric vehicle.

I think it changes with the latest software update on your phone. Someone else mentioned this right after I finally got mine working right again. I'm not sure why they're doing these dumb changes but I guess someone there must need to do something to justify their job. Needless to say I'm skipping the updates for now. lol
On my Android phone, it now shows the fuel level in percentage and also miles to empty.
Just % and no miles - Android 5.3.2.
Mine now says 100% and no miles. It's really about 3/4 of a tank on the truck gauge so somethings wrong now. 5.3.2
Oh course, I am special, I have been telling everyone I know for years but you're the first one to recognize that...
Don't feel bad - I'm on 5.4 on Android and mine only shows % as well. Even weirder is that while the location used to work fine, now it shows it somewhere about 15 miles away - I drove thru there yesterday, but don't know why it would show that being its location, even though it knows it is parked.Still % only. Grrrrrrrr!
It says mine updated yesterday but still shows 5.4 - but now I see both percent and miles to empty. My location is still all wacked out though.
