Not much performance tune?I saw a Roush tune posted on here a few days ago - I thought I read it was an official Ford tune, but it was a tune and a CAI and it didn't offer much in the way or performance - but it wouldn't void your warranty.

Here is a link to the "tune" - it doesn't sound great to me:Not much performance tune?![]()

Peak power increases of 14 horsepower and 53 lb-ft of torque over stock - for $935? Wow - the only good thing I can say is that it won't void your warranty...![]()

Lol. Don't live in Cali...Can’t buy in Cali![]()

I bumped into someone from Mountune yesterday and was told they are developing some Ranger parts. They wouldnt tell me any more than that but I would expect the usual upgrades.I wounder if Mountune will jump into the game soon ... Be careful to read the fine print on the "warranty" though. I heard that the factory warranty is voided and replaced with a "Ford Performance", "Roush", or whatever "Company" the provide the tune/power package.
Don't you get the same performance boost just running 93 octane with no tune?$900 for said gains and preservation of warranty is 100% worth it. How much is your new motor going to cost for a denied claim when a cut rate tune kills your engine?
The only shame is they did it for 93 octane, hopefully they change that soon.
Doubtful, higher octane only slows the fuel burn to help eliminate pre detonation.Don't you get the same performance boost just running 93 octane with no tune?
the Driver Demanded Torque targets are hard coded in the ECU. They are set sadly low in the Ranger. You won’t get more power without raising these targets in the tune.Don't you get the same performance boost just running 93 octane with no tune?
