My luck is still holding.

I had a Maverick built and was going to contact Granger yesterday about potentially ordering one, then Ford pulled the plug yesterday.

Please don’t order a lightning. That will be my KOD.

The Ranger is on the verge of too big already.

No worries about ordering an F150.

Not really surprised, the wait was gonna be a few months longer if I went with a Maverick instead of a Ranger. I knew they would sell like hot cakes lol.

I really do think they look good, just not quite big enough for me.

I was all in on the Maverick band wagon... until I got off. I called my dealer 1st of December to order a hybrid, order banks of course had closed for hybrid on 11/15/2021

so then I decided to go the EcoBoost AWD FX4 XLT. Which I ordered 12/4/2021

then a couple weeks later looked at one on my dealer lot and decided it was just too small. I really like the look of the truck and think it would be an excellent vehicle, EcoBoost 2.0 250 HP or whatever it is, would run great. Coming from a full size 2012 tundra just to big of a downsize.

So then I pulled the trigger on the Midsize Ranger. Ordered it 12/21/2021.
I already have 2021 Bronco Big Bend and love the 2.3 EcoBoost. So now I’m all in on the Ranger. It’s really almost too easy to order vehicles these days. Just takes a long time actually take delivery off one :)

I’m excited looking forward to Ranger

Was out looking at cars on Sunday. Saw a couple of very nice Maverick Lariats on a local lot. Price seemed reasonable at about $31K. Then I saw the add on sticker and the price was suddenly $41K. Me and LONE Ranger are going to be happy together for a good bit longer. :)

Something seems off with the Maverick. Just not my cup of tea. I suppose the price is what is attracting buyers.

The size and the mpg is what's appealing to me.

Well, I say mpg but I don't drive that much as my Ranger that I picked up in Dec 2019 just now turned over 14k miles.

The Ranger is actually bigger than what I need, but with that said I have once used my Ranger to tow more than the Maverick max.

If I need something bigger I have friends with Super Duty and 3500 GM trucks.
