Sadly it’s time to sell my Ranger. I need something bigger to tow a 36’ camper. I’m thinking about just trading it in but we all know how that goes. I figured I’d test the waters here to see if anyone is interested. I’ve attached some pictures at the end of all the work done to it. I live in Canton, Georgia.

It’s a 2019 Ford Ranger XLT with the FX4 package. 41,000 miles, oil changed every 5,000 with Mobil 1 full synthetic. All maintenance up to date. I’d like to get $55,000 out of it, I’ve got over $60k in it. Just testing the water with this to see how it goes.

Nice up there. My wife is from up that way in Buford and we have family in Toccoa. We are headed up to Helen area and north to Lake Chatuge for a week. Scouting property to buy for a cabin. Looks like it’s gonna be cold this weekend into next week.

It’s beautiful up in the Helen area. We camp at Chatuge and Lake Hiawassee, hence why I need a bigger truck?

be honest....is this really about the Tom Woods driveshaft and the fact it has a grease nipple and needs greasing on a regular basis??
I check the grease every oil change. So it’s not a inconvenience at all.

Nice truck. Good luck on the sale. Curious to see what replaces that rig.

how much of a loss can one expect on the mods?
Especially on a trade in, I'm sure they aren't going to tally up your mods costs and pay you fair.
You've created a truck for a limited market, even if a dealer took it on trade, they don't want it to sit on the lot long.
I did just put it in, but I work at a off-road shop so I deal with this stuff all the time and that’s what I tell all my customers.

And one dealer said they would give me $40,000 for it, not terrible but still a huge loss. The dealership did tell me that I could take off all the lights and winch from the front bumper.

There’s an ass for every seat as they say. Still don’t know who “they” are.
As much as used trucks are going for that is a damn good looking vehicle with decent mileage. Looks to be well put together with tons of costly upgrades some being custom. It’s about as close as you can get cosmetically to a 5G Raptor in North America and an upgraded one at that. I’d put it on eBay and some other sites. I bet it sells for much more than a trade in will net.

Hell I can do $40,500. Let me ring my bank and get the paperwork started. I'm in woodstock so we could get this done by days end.

Seen this in the Jeep world, you never get back what you put into your rig. Best bet is strip it down back to stock the best you can, trade in, and sell the parts on the side.
