When I stripped the truck down and went back to them they said they would only give me $30k even though they told me I could do that. So it was shady so I went to another dealership.
It was easier for me since I don’t have a lot of time to meet up with people and show the truck. Plus when you trade it in you get a little bit of a tax break, so I saved a few thousand dollars there. Plus I was able to strip the truck down so I can use a lot of the parts for other builds. I...
They are making them, I was told they should be released early this summer. If you check out their website you can get more information on them, you’ll also see old pictures of my truck on their website
Sold my truck and pulled these tow mirrors off. They are from ClearView, they are power adjustable, turn signals, puddle lights, and manual telescoping. They were on my truck for about 8 months. I was doing some testing for them and they sent me the final product early so that how I got mine so...
The rear bumper was from Coastal Offroad, I had to do a little fab work to make it work with the wide body. The front was a total one off build I did, except for the skid plate, that came from Coastal Offroad. I used some of their cad files to plasma cut the center section out, and I have a tube...
I traded it in yesterday!! I was able to take all my lights, performance, tow mirrors, switch panel, winch, pretty much everything but the bumpers. Dealership gave me $35,000 for trade in so I thought that was extremely fair. I’m keeping all the parts except the tow mirrors. If any one is...
I work with them all the time at my shop, we sell their driveshafts for jeeps daily. I was able to do some testing for them on this product and that’s how I got mine early.
It’s just the camera angle, and I also did not have them perfectly lined up with one another. If you order one from Tom Woods you have to measure for the new one.
I did just put it in, but I work at a off-road shop so I deal with this stuff all the time and that’s what I tell all my customers.
And one dealer said they would give me $40,000 for it, not terrible but still a huge loss. The dealership did tell me that I could take off all the lights and...
I’d say it’s worth every penny. Plus you don’t have that carrier bearing attached to the body anymore so in my case, idk if it’s the same for all rangers, it made the interior much quieter.
Sadly it’s time to sell my Ranger. I need something bigger to tow a 36’ camper. I’m thinking about just trading it in but we all know how that goes. I figured I’d test the waters here to see if anyone is interested. I’ve attached some pictures at the end of all the work done to it. I live in...
None at all. It drives smoother now then when I first bought the truck. I have a pretty aggressive tune on it so it shifts a little hard, and you could really feel it in the drive shaft. Now it’s as smooth as butter.
