For us it's daily activity in summer and in winter. In summer the horses are at pasture with no running water nearby. In winter, although the horses are nearby, the hoses freeze and pulling & reeling would be more work. In spring & autumn things are easy as you just open the tap and fill the buckets.I have done that before. I have a friend in Prineville Oregon with 20 acres. No normal running water so we have to do the same thing but with 2 containers. It's a PITA but has to be done. He has 3 horses, 2 pigs, 20 chickens and ducks, 3 dogs and 2 cats and a very large greenhouse. They all need water which most people take for granted. I might have forgot some too. LOL. Electricity is from a windmill plus generator and solar panels. I love there place but I am spoiled and prefer to have running water, electricity, natural gas and stores close buy.
also got bad news on alternators plugs and basically anything for truck lol nothing in stock. something breaks ill be driving the baby ranger full time again... id never say it around the new truck - but the old one will likely be running fine when the new one is salvage yard bound..Scott you're on a roll, twice in one day. lol Who knows you might even drive it again tomorrow?I did something I normally don't do. I drove the Ranger at night. :O
The lovely wife and I went out to eat this evening and stopped by the Walgreens on the way back home.
She bought me dinner because I did the oil change on her Ford Escape this morning.
No pictures this time. It was dark and raining, lol.

I did get to play in the snow for the first time on my way home from work. I believe she may be a tank in training. After installing my shorty antenna a week ago, I backed out of my garage(as it had done all week) and hit my shorty antenna right on the garage door at just the wrong angle, loosening my antenna and puting a dent in my top. 493 miles, it made me sick. Thank God for coworkers and painless dentless repair. She is back in shape and the cherry has been popped. Now she is just a pickup. ? Sorry no pics, I really wasn't in my right mind after.(shock I believe ??????)
lord have mercy on your backs! hope the piano has wheels and everything is on the ground floor lol.Picked up a 6x12 U- haul enclosed trailer so we can pick up a free piano tomorrow.

Great that it was fixed and not a good feeling when that happens...also another thing to keep in mind is not to hit the arm on the garage door opener with the antenna. Mine would connect with it if I pulled in and they were in line. So I use the AC outlet on the front wall of the garage and align it with the crease in the hood as a marker to avoid that line upAfter installing my shorty antenna a week ago, I backed out of my garage(as it had done all week) and hit my shorty antenna right on the garage door at just the wrong angle, loosening my antenna and puting a dent in my top. 493 miles, it made me sick. Cool picture. I am intrigued. Did you drop it there by helicopter? I would expect it to be covered in mud beyond recognition, or did that happen after the photo?I finally got off pavement
