Just installed mine. Straight forward. Sounds good but when I went for a drive I was like “yup, thats a 4 banger”. Still like it and surprised how quiet while cruising.

I just ordered the MagnaFlo cat back and a Rousch CAI. I can't wait to see the improvements. I was mostly trying to get the increased hp and torque, but the rumble would be nice - if it isn't annoying. My fingers are still crossed on that one.

You’ll be happy. The 4-banger comment isn’t about the Flowmaster but that the louder exhaust note allows me to hear the nature of the 4banger better, as all of these systems do. There’s so many good options I think just about all of them sound great. I like how muted the exhaust note is at idle and cruising as well due to the inherent muffling from the turbo.

Thanks...that's good to hear. I learned a lot from guys on this forum, it saved me from making mistakes because of lack of experience.

I got the FlowFX and was going to install it and an AFE downpipe together. Couldn't get the stock downpipe off, so I installed the exhaust and it sounds good.

Of course I took the truck to a shop with the tools and time to put the downpipe on and... Let's just say that I will not be sneaking up on anybody in my Ranger!

Honestly, it's still pretty tame unless I'm accelerating. Wide open is excessively loud. And awesome.

No. With the FX it was just nice. Check the vids for that and they are spot on. The Downpipe took it from "deep and nice" to "asshole thinks he has a racecar" sounding.
