Fixing scuff on wheel.

So I was in the city today and I scuffed one of new wheels on the edge. Tight spot and a curbed just jumped out and damaged my wheel. ?
Nothing a file, sandpaper and paint can't fix

You hit a curb with those rims? THOSE AWSOME RIMS ??? Perhaps with proper footware your driving skills would improve enough to keep it off the curbs ? And , turn in your man card ? , scuffing a rim of that quality is enough to lose the card but add in the flip-flops while trying to repair said damage is just begging for it , i can't , it's not ... I'm at a loss here , what the hell is going on over there in the Philippines?

Well I was driving in sneakers. I swear the curb moved. Now the flip flop repair is proper standard work shoes here.

No just rim edge. ? Already filed smooth and have good coat of paint on. Going to let dry well and then wet sand with 5k. Then another fine coat of paint. Then if needed wet sand again then buff.

It do suck , and I'm just messing with ya , I'm usually on top of the curb , hard to scuff if you drive on top of it , I have been extra careful with this truck , even these factory rims are by far the nicest I've ever had , and the first black ones , which make the scuffs 1000 times more noticeable...

it takes a good bit of work to remove curb rash ask me how i know...


i bought a set of used gsr blade wheels off a early 90s integra for my civic and they were rashed to hell and back! so 180 on all the lips and some on the inner of the lip taking that all the way to 600 to blend it in then decided why not polish the entire wheel! so went all the way up to 2k wet sand and i some really high grit to polish them! 6 hours for one wheel haha i only got two done before i was so tired of messing with it lol still got two others to do....

I hit my Magnetic Sport wheel on the rear while off roading. I did the grind, sand, paint and buff job and it is barely noticeable if you look for it.

All repaired. I can live with the wheel now without replacing. ??

It's impossible to curb rash my Magnetics on 80 a/r tires.
