This is the adapter you need these days. You no longer have to switch between HS or MS, it loads everything.

Did you email them and get your free or extended license?

The scanner that worked on my two Mustangs didn't load all the modules on my 21 Ranger.

I got the OBDLink EX mentioned above and it works fine.

Looks like you got the one you have from Amazon. I would return it and get the OBDLink EX unit from Amazon.

mine was built late Augest 2021, brakes felt fine, I ran this on mine and brakes did not change at all. Apparently they are now doing it at factory.

I can only speculate but I believe it a procedure that somehow got forgotten either at the factory or maybe that portion was handed off to dealers as delivery prep. and they didn’t know to do it. Who knows for sure. I’ve driven mine about 400 miles since, this definitely fixed the issue.

mine was built first week of september and I felt the brakes being soft as compared to my explorer. Did this brake service and it has change and comparable to my explorer.

I just came to look for info on the wireless OBDLink MX+ and found this thread. This whole procedure took less time than my test drive around the neighborhood. Now the brakes feel like they should. I have a 21' built on 12/20 for what it's worth.

I feel like I owe someone a case of beer now...

Did this procedure today. Truck at 4900 miles. Boy was the bleed procedure noisy! But success!!!! Feels like a new truck with huge Brimbo brakes! Thank you for posting this solution!

Made a difference. Easy-Peazy. Did the ABS reset, also.

I can confirm that this procedure made a HUGE difference in brake feel and performance with my '21 XLT Tremor. Now the brakes feel like they should, with some grab right away and loads of feel as you press harder. I damn near hit the steering wheel the first time I pressed the pedal. I can't believe they don't do this at the factory, and I can't believe it took me almost 2,000 miles to do this.

Push the start button without your foot on the brake.

Entire thing took 5 minutes. Pedal feels normal now; anyone worried that it will be too hard or sensitive, have no fear. It just fixes the issue with the pedal going to the floor to get response. Now it's like any other vehicle I've driven. And I encourage anyone who's going to do it to spend the extra $10 for a forscan license, even though you don't need one; spending the $ helps them keep developing the product for us.

Did the Forscan ABS Service Bleed procedure today as described above. It solved the mushy brakes and creeping at the stop light scenarios. I can recommend it 100%.

After getting used to the Ranger brakes and shocking my family a few times when I switched to my wife's car, I decided to try this as well on my '21 XLT Tremor. Like others have said, it makes a huge difference. Info like this is exactly what's great about the forum!
