The ignore button is awesome.

I was about to do the same then I removed a few people from my feed and ... No more issues.
Thanks so much for the advice, there over a million comedians out of work and a lot of these members are trying to apply for that position......LOL

Personally I would rather they siphon gas through the filler than the more common way of stealing gas by poking a hole in the tank and letting it drain into a container.
The newer vented filler necks make it difficult and time consuming to siphon. Try putting gas into the tank using the little funnel thingy; then siphon it back out...
I just thought of Reason #395 for a fuel tank skid plate.

My 93 Pathfinder has a lever by the drivers seat you have to push in order to open the gas door. If manufacturers would stay with this idea it would be awesome in my opinion. The electric ones can still have problems over the cable ones.
They used to have cable operated fuel doors. They went out with under hood lights.

It may be a solution to the evaporative emissions codes which are WAY too common on Fords with that stupid filler cap.
Oh geez. R5g Re-engineering team checkin in..

So seeing some adverse words on your phone screen can be so traumatic to you that you have to cancel them? No way to live man.

Yeah I thought these capless systems make it hard to siphon gas out of them. Not sure. Never tried it and never will. :)

I got a check engine light from the evap system. Code P0496. It seems like a fairly common problem an I was wondering if the capless system contributed to the problems. I've been in twice. First time for a software update an the light came back. Now they ordered a control valve. I won't be able to get it in for 3 weeks do to no loaner cars until then.

It just happens to be true that these Capless filler tops set codes at a rate at least an order of magnitude more often than a conventional cap.
Many times it is just a bit dirty, preventing a seal, but it often requires even more attention.
I don't expect to buy a locking cap.... I'll just put up with it. The Ranger has not set a code yet but my TC has. Just clean it and erase the code when it happens.

I wish Ford would have just made the fuel door where you have to unlock it from inside vehicle like my car does...most people will go to easier pickings
I have had to many of those fail over the years, they get harder and harder to use, and then the mechanism jams up and you need a screwdriver to pry open the door.

Pointless when the tank is so easy to access from in front of the rear wheel.
