Its great...... Until you loose the keys or it breaks internally..... Other than that a good idea

That's true about anything you buy, I didn't buy one. I was just putting it out there, because I saw so many questions about a locking gas cap. Won't be posting anymore stuff.

You arent wrong, ive just heard enough stories about the Locking gas caps having that issue is all. To each thier own for what they do.

Welcome to the internet. Don't take people's responses so personally.

It's a fine option, but IIRC that's the type of lock core that can be defeated with a Bic pen, and the explosion of youtube vids about how to do it in the mid-aughts convinced Kryptonite to do a MASSIVE recall on these cylindrical key type locks.

Personally I would rather they siphon gas through the filler than the more common way of stealing gas by poking a hole in the tank and letting it drain into a container.

It may be a solution to the evaporative emissions codes which are WAY too common on Fords with that stupid filler cap.
