If ford would get that 7spd transmission across the board. I would have gave the Bronco more of a look. You guys going SUV, any concerns about not have a "bed" to haul things in? That's always been my worry. I don't haul anything major but having a P/U is nice for those times.
It really depends what you're going to be hauling or towing and how many times a year do you really need a truck? If it's only a couple times here and there you're better off just renting a truck and having the SUV as your daily driver. Also if you're getting a 4dr SUV the rear seats fold (mostly) flat giving you quite a bit f room to haul stuff. It's just something each person will have to decide for themself which is more practical. Right now I need a truck for work but there will come a day where a Bronco or Jeep will be a better fit so for now I'm getting both. ?

We recently bought an Explorer for my wife. I got it with the tow package and it has a surprising amount of space inside because the second and third rows fold flat, so I don't think we will have a hauling issue if the situation arises. Unless we needed a load of gravel or something like that, but I'll cross that bridge if/when it comes up.

Congrats and see you on the Bronco forum!

Awesome switch though, not sure many people would fault you for that one. Good luck with it.
I just purchased red vinyl "BRONCO" letters from you guys for my front grille. I don't know why they make the letters black for the base bronco, it just disappears. But for $20 bucks I couldn't pass that up. Will post pics once I get the letters on.

Agreed an the vinyl letters for as small of a detail as they are make a huge difference.

We had a 2014 Explorer Limited before we got the Ranger in 2019, and the Explorer has a ton of room inside. Unless you are hauling gravel (or manure), it is hard to imagine a daily-life scenario that the Explorer could not handle. Of course, the Ranger is lifted up a lot higher and is better protected underneath, and so it can go places where the Explorer cannot, and so it all depends on what you want.

Congratulations John, what a Christmas present. Enjoy that Bronco. BTW, that doesn't mean you have to leave us. Hang around, and help the new kids that get a Ranger for Christmas. :)
