Just purchased a set of 265/70's. My buddy's shop set me up and gave me a great deal installed.
However, his antiquated tire machine couldn't handle my sport wheels. Total bummer! Damage would've been the result.
....so, there they sit in the bed. What's everyone paying these days for mount and balance with bringing in your own tires?
...or, ya think Ford points can be used even though you're not buying tires from them? Thoughts? Anyone done the latter?
Look to be a fantastic tire and I'll update here when they're on.
$25- 30 per tire is normal, and I always bring my own wheels, sensors, and tires.

I have about 5k miles on my 265/70/17 set.

Very satisfied.

Light years better than the OEM Hankooks in ride, handling, offroad performance, and most importantly wet road handling in the rain.

The Hankooks almost introduced me to a curb and these in the exact same spot are solid.

Love my AT3W's. 265/65R18. Like others have said... I was ready to rip out my suspension, but it turns out the Hankooks were just that awful. I put the Falken's on and it completely changed the truck. Worth every penny... those hankooks are worthless.

Took it to Ford today and asked if they'd put them on using the points I've never used. They said sure can. So here they are along with fresh oil change and a recall. Zero dollars. Good times!

Quick question……what cold tire pressure are you running in the Wildpeak?

Edit: l just did my first rotation and like to cross the back to the front, then the fronts straight to the back for the best wear.

Same here. I’ve been at 31 with 265/70r18. Any more than that and the ride gets harsh

265/70/17LT set on mine and love them!
I have 4k on them, and running at 39psi cold. I tried for awhile with ranging from 30-36, but 39 is where I landed.

I've had my Wildpeaks for 3 months now. WAY better than the factory tires. Those and some Eibach rear shocks changed the way this truck handles dramatically. Running 35psi.

Did you notice a change in MPG?

I think the answer to MpG changes is relative to whether or not you recalibrate the speedometer correctly. When I upgraded from stock tire to 265/70r18…..my speedo was off like almost 4 mph at 65. At 65mph on the speedo ….gps would say 70.

I did recalibrate the speedo via FORSCAN. I did not notice a change in MPG but I honestly don't pay much attention to it unless I'm on a road trip. Most of my driving is in the city w stop and go traffic so I'm only getting 17-18 most of the time.
