Just a general question—
I’ve read a lot about tunes for the 2019 Ranger and finally decided to go for it now that my warranty has expired. After looking at the different options, I went with Livernois based on strong reviews about both their tunes and their customer support.


I placed my order early this morning with two-day air shipping. Since I didn’t receive a confirmation email, I figured I’d reach out with a couple of questions and to check the status of my order. The payment cleared my bank, but the site still only shows “checkout complete” and hasn’t updated all day.


I sent separate emails to customer support and tech support. Other than the auto-responses confirming they received my requests, I haven’t heard back. The tech support message said I should expect a reply within 24 hours, while sales support suggested someone would get back to me “shortly.”


Since I’ve heard one of Livernois’ strengths is being able to actually talk to someone, I tried calling. I went through the phone menu several times today using different options, but haven’t been able to reach anyone.


Now I’m starting to get a little concerned about whether I made the right choice dropping $600+ on this tune. So, just wondering—what’s been the recent experience with Livernois for others here?

I am sure it is now but it was not when calling. I was really only concerned as I payed a lot for next day delivery and had a few questions.

You made the order this morning and you are worried? Comical... I hope they cancel your order.
ot so much about the order itself but the lack of being able to reach anyone yes, but I would say when charging 200+ dollars for next day delivery i would expect the order would go out same day. Maybe they will cancel my order as you say but would not affect me personally. You actually seem more upset than I am. Lol

I had a great experience but have had mine for almost 6 years. Love the tunes and they really bring the truck alive. I had no problems with customer service back then,

Next day air was 244.89 to be exact. Circumstances around wanting to get everything done in the next few days.

Two-Day Air Shipping implies the shipping method and time req'd to reach you once the item is shipped, not when the item is shipped. IOW, you will receive the item 2 days from date the item is shipped.

It is not a statement of when you will receive the item from the moment you complete the purchase transaction.

Subtle but different.

That is a big shipping expense! I have to wonder where the product originating location is.

Yes that is true and a defining difference, but Livernois states same day shipping orders prior to 3pm of in stock items.
Really only makes a difference of receiving Saturday/Sunday vs Tuesday / Wednesday.

I've had a great experience with their support.

I had a LOT of issues with mine at first, like bricking the truck multiple times.

Livernois replaced my Ford baseline file with an updated Ford version and that resolved my issues.

A+ support.

Ive had mixed experience with Livernois. When I tuned my Ranger 3 years ago their support was really stellar. A few months ago I tried to ask a question about tuning my explorer before purchasing another tuner, and I also couldn't get a hold of anyone. Via email, or phone. Since I didn't have any money on the line I just gave up trying.

Thanks. This is kind of the conclusion I have come to also and seems to be the consensus across a couple of forums where I asked similar questions. Lesson learned. I even read a couple people waiting very long periods for the actual tunes. Will update with final outcome just so anyone searching has something to base decisions off of. Other than that I am not going to worry with it. If it gets to be too much hassle I will go a different route.
