Think this will come to the US?

I really miss the Focus ST/ RS and Fiesta ST...Sorry, anything cool ? that Ford does to the Rangers (and some others) is reserved ONLY for other countries ... we may see some scraps of it when their almost done with it...just like the 5G...
Honestly since Toyota did it with the Taco and they already have the Maverick. They may actually do itMaybe.....
When.......
If I did my conversion correctly, you GAIN payload (1000kg =~ 2200lbs) - towing seemed mostly the same (3500kg =~ 7700lbs).Interesting....you gain some fancy electrics and a battery and lose some payload.
I read the full report on a car mag. Yes FORD will make hybrid Rangers however only the US is not going to get them. They are only for the EU, Asia, OZ, NZ.
Think this will come to the US?
Dont know.@KNI. Does AS have a tariff? VAT? Most of Europe has a VAT at a typical 19-25%. Likely the reason for the high price stated in Euros. Australia's price is not typically noted in Euros.
That is nothing, I got familia in Argentina.Dont know.
Here in Finland we have co2 tax, then a car tax and finally record breaking VAT of 25.5%.
Practically doubles all car prices compared to rest of the world.
That's harsh.. We end up paying (for petrol) 40-120% depending on the Co2 and car weight, but the yearly cost is only like 1%, not 100%. Diesels get also few percent more yearly tax. That is nothing, I got familia in Argentina.
They pay 100% tax on the vehicle and then 100% tax on the vehicle retail price every single year.
Many other latin countries do exactly the same.
The only savings they have is buy a gas vehicle and then buy after market propane tank for your vehicle. You start your vehicle with gas then turn switch to only use propane.
The cost of propane is so much cheaper than gas. Argentina does have some gas and plenty of propane.
Clearly most drive manual as cost is so high.
Those in USA have no idea of the cost others pay for the initial cost and the running cost.
LOL, I had a familia member who got a FORD F150 but with a Perkins diesel engine with 3 on the tree. The FORD F150 does not sell gas engines in Argentina..
