Engine Cover Kit Discontinued??

Just purchased the last cover available (with the hardware) thru an ebay seller who obtained it from a Ford Dealer in Cookeville, TN. Several sellers said that Ford had just put out a notice that they were going to discontinue producing these covers.

Out of curiosity, what did you pay? I'm wondering if the prices are going up as the stock dwindles.

Went to buy from Benny and also called my dealer (tremor getting first oil change and some goodies with FordPass rewards). Looks like no more engine cover kits which stinks. Should have ordered it back in January. Argh!
Dealership says they are listed as a discontinued part from Ford.

Well, luckily was able to score a cover and the 2 studs. But they forgot to put the two cover nuts in the box so have not been able to install it. Hoping they respond to their error so can get them and get this thing install. One dance piece of foam I tell ya! Lol!

That should have read one FANCY piece of foam I tell ya! Looking forward to getting this thing installed on the Tremor.

I discovered this too when I was trying to find a cover and learned that there are two separate items of mounting hardware that need to be ordered in addition to the cover (the two nuts and the two studs):

Hope they include all the parts in my order!

I discovered this too when I was trying to find a cover and learned that there are two separate items of mounting hardware that need to be ordered in addition to the cover (the two nuts and the two studs):

I ran into that situation too. One of the sellers did not have the cover but they did have the nuts and studs with 4 in each package instead of 2 in each package which would mean 2 extra nuts and 2 extra studs. I was able to find packages with 2 in each and the cover from another seller. But at least you got the mounting parts which are probably getting scarce now along with the covers Like that Cyber Orange!

That's pretty bad when deleted parts get deleted themselves! =(

Like @Trigganometry pointed out, the addition of this cover is part of an official Ford TSB for water getting into spark plug wells, freezing and cracking the ceramic on the plug. How can Ford discontinue the part with that TSB in place? Odd.

I took my 2019 Ranger in because it was starting to miss fire. They told me about the TSB after I had brought it in to be inspected (they were unaware, as well; The Ford Store Morgan Hill). Apparently, this voided both my power train warranty (still good in miles and time) and my extended warranty! I'm in the process of a buy back because I am unable to afford all the repairs.

A good opportunity for someone to reproduce them in paintable vac-formed covers...or pricey fiber glass/carbon fiber...
