Last summer I towed 6500 miles (https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/6464-miles-towing-7200lb-tt.25658/#post-588143) with my 7300lb TT. I'm at it again this year and will probably be closer to 8000 miles. I'll post an over view when its done. Leaving Salt Lake City headed east on I-80, a completely empty taco came flying up behind me just as we started ascending Parley's Canyon. For Those not familiar -

Elevation: 7050 feet at the top – 4920 feet at the bottom.

Length: 12 miles

Terrain: up to 4-6% grades, typically 6%

Taco passed on the left and got about one car length ahead but lost alot of speed trying to get up the hill. The trusty ranger only lost 5mph and the taco never could get away from me until we reached the top. That must have been very humbling for Toyotabro that his empty taco struggled as hard as my maxed out ranger to make it to the top.
HA! I just drove over that on my way out to Iowa and back, just a bit steep for sure, but Raton Pass up the 25 is worse and the grapevine in Calif comes close, so glad I opted for the Ranger.
