Has anybody with the FX4 package went with the Eibach Complete Pro-Truck Sport Shock & Strut Kit (E80-35-048-01-22)? If so, how did the ride improve or degrade comparing to the factory "Ford Tuned FX" shocks/struts?

I think Ford is using Fox struts on its FX trucks. Not sure I would get away from them to buy the Eibachs

Didn't have issues with stock FX4 ride like many complained about (bobbing, motion sickness etc) but I did upgrade to Eibach Pro Truck lift kit and I'm very, very happy...rides like a Caddy on road and very responsive to steering. BTW, I drove it stock for the first 5 thousand miles...I'm nearing 23 thousand now.

Will let you know what it's like off road sometime next week as I plan on hitting Uhwarrie:)

The Ford FX4 struts and the Ford Performance Fox struts are way different shocks. Night and day feeling between the two with the Fox shocks way out pacing the factory FX4 suspension.

No way, not even close. I traded in a '17 TRD Pro Tacoma for my '19 Lariat FX4 Ranger. The TRD Pro Tacoma had Fox suspension and rode a TON better than the FX4 Ranger. The Ranger is very bouncy and jittery. I am looking forward to installing the Fox 2.0 suspension setup on my Ranger unless I hear that the Eibach stuff is as good for less money.

I’m hoping to hear the same but I’m not sure if we will get a good unbiased review from someone who has tried both.

Hi, wondering how the Eibach performed in Uhwarrie, also how did the Falken's perform there as well?

Didn't make it like I planned but did find some other dirt to play on...I prefer taking moderate terrain at overland speed (slow) and really enjoyed the solid footing the struts provide. For higher speeds, I can't say but these are probably not the ones for the job being without a remote reservoir...For the price and intended use, I'm very happy with them...As for the Falkens, no complaints. I have over 24k miles, running at 35psi and rotated 3 times...they look pretty much like new if you didn't look too close...the wear pattern are very even...taken care of properly, ie avoid hard turns, rotation, air pressure, etc...they'll last over 40k as advertised...:)

Anyone who says the Taco in "any trim level" rides better than a new Ranger we will not get a proper unbiased opinion from . I've driven all the new 19s an Ranger was in class all it's own thus it got my $ an my buds with Colorados & Tacos are seriously wanting to trade up to '20 Ranger FX4. Ford came out to win not just compete.

Anyone know if you can use the Eibach springs on the stock struts? I see they sell them separately.

Yeah I saw that also. Was curious if it was just a ploy to sell more shocks. LOL

Just wondering if anyone with experience with this kit could see any differences between the two. I think the Eibach shocks are adjustable, but not sure.
