Another way is to click at the top of the post on the insert images (or videos) button. That will embed the pic or video in the post, not as an attached file. Some people have problems viewing attached documents, particularly if they are in a format their machine can't handle, like .mov files. At the bottom of your response click the "attach files" tab and choose the picture you want to attach.
I use the "Insert Image" icon.

OMG. I do visit the site from my phone, but usually from my laptop. I don't live on my phone and find it very annoying because I'm old. But anyway, I will try out your instructions. Maybe I can learn something. -Goes back to screaming at clouds-And GET OFF My LAWN-I've never posted on, or even visited Ranger5g from any device other than my phone. The full site you get, I assume, from a laptop or desktop my be different. But I do it like this...
1. Take, or download, picture
2. Hit "insert image" icon
3. Hit where it says "(click here)"
4. Select image
5. Hit "done"
The last time I used a laptop/desktop period was about 4 months ago to complete some refinance authorizations that couldn't be done on a mobile device. Before that, maybe 2 years previous for the same purpose.OMG. I do visit the site from my phone, but usually from my laptop. I don't live on my phone and find it very annoying because I'm old. Chill. I wasn't making any comment toward your habits, just trying to be funny. But, stay off my lawn. The last time I used a laptop/desktop period was about 4 months ago to complete some refinance authorizations that couldn't be done on a mobile device. This forum probably takes up about 80% of my "phone time." I post roughly 6 times a day. You, however, post roughly 12 times a day from your device, and that's just here. Who's living where?
I find it "very annoying" when some desk jockey who spends 8-10 hours a day on a computer bitches about people "living on their phones." Periodically checking a phone when off work because you're not tied to it or a computer at work is no different from you checking Facebook before you file that report.
I'm probably just as old as you. If you screamed at me to get off your lawn I'd probably tell you to go back to answering phones like a good secretary, sorry, administrative assistant.
Was just admiring the root system.Chill. I wasn't making any comment toward your habits, just trying to be funny. But, stay off my lawn.
OK, so I guess I will explain/expand on my comment. What I meant was that I don't use my phone much. I do look at the forum, but don't know how to actually post images and such, but I was interested to learn. That was the point. I am willing to learn. Both of you! ?

Lol...Mine was just a joke back at you for telling Doug to "Get off my lawn". Are you drinking and posting again Tom? ?OK, so I guess I will explain/expand on my comment. I did not intend to imply that anyone doing that was 'living on their phone' I'm sorry if that was implied, and truly meant that I would try the instructions and attempt to learn. I don't understand what I said that would have meant something different, but I will evaluation it and see where I can post better.
No. I was just sort of shocked, but I do know that text is difficult to interpret, so it's a learning experience.
But, OK, time for a drink.
