How much does that cost and is it too late for me to buy one?

My Ranger, after almost 2 years of ownership, has not had one down day, for anything.....now I'm beginning to worry that I may have a trouble-free experience !!!!
When does the bad stuff happen ???
I'm with you. Almost 3 and a half years. Only issue was the ever unpopular battery dying syndrom. Worked great up to 34 months then b dead battery. Replaced under warranty. No studder. Shudder, vibration. Shifts fine, OK a little rough when cold, never had an automatic that didn't.

Bought it to replace my 2011 Ranger with the 4.0 and 5spd. Reason, my camper was just a little to big for it, 4200# loaded. My '19 pulls it great, use tow mode and lock out 9th and 10th gears. Monitor temps and in Arizona in 100+ temps never saw the transmission go over 220.

Granted I'm an almost 70 O.R.F. Not interested in 0 to 60 or quarter mile times or off-roading. Of course there are the occasional WOT freeway on-ramp moments. Truck is stock with 27K and a pavement princess. It a daily driver that gets used to tow the camper, haul the ocassional "stuff" and the inevetable "dump run". Only mods other than cosmetic are rear Bilstien 5100s and looking at Sumosprings for the back this spring to help with towing.

In general I love my truck. Only minor disapointments are the towing mileage and the halogen headlights, which I have a plan to take care of when the weather get warmer. Hoping "BigBlue" outlasts me. :like:

Lee...I tow a 7000 lb travel trailer and have the same 5100 rears. GET THE SUMO'S...they do help. And consider the Roadmaster Active Suspension set up. I have it and it makes a big difference in the handling when towing...their web site explains it much better than I can.
My Ranger is used exactly as yours is, a retiree daily driver and to tow.

Wife drives it on a daily basis, 30k miles, apart from front brake hose
issue last yr, no issues today. Had to go to Ottawa last Sunday, was a few flurries, about 4" on the road. Got off the 401 not to get stuck
in a jam, took back roads. Awesome with the Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice.
I think I saw some white walkers far in the fields, not sure, winter is coming.

Serious question guys...how much? ?
Depends on year, mileage, and which plan you choose.
Best buy's are on line Ford dealer Flood Ford, or I believe Granger Ford. They charge only $50 bucks over the cost of the plan, where others will charge you big bucks over the plan just to pocket the extra.
The plans you get from them are actual Ford plans, NOT aftermarket, and are honored at any Ford dealer.
Go to their site and you can enter your info and they'll give you the cost.
Just to give you an idea, I got mine thru Flood Ford.....8 year, 100,000 mile, $1195.
Now, when I got mine, the Ranger was only a few months old with 1800 miles on it.
And, my selling dealer wanted over $2500 for the same plan. They were going to give me a 10% break cause I bought the truck from them. That means they were going to pocket over $1000 extra.

We help people sell their Rangers in the easiest way possible.
Because sites like this are mostly full of issues & people who don't have issues don't post, here is a place
to say you don't have issues with your truck.
This idea comes from a sport car forum where it seamed everybody crashed their car:
"I drove my car & did not crash....'

So, let people know you went for milk & did not have a problem, or went 4x4, long drive, washed the truck....
maybe add miles..

I'll start with:
Wife took the truck, came back, no issues.(1400km)
This is our favorite thread now lol. Cheers to more safe and problem free travels.
