Door Keypad Programming Question

Just joined the forum and hoping to learn a lot from all of you. I just bought a new 2024 Ranger XLT off the Dealer lot. It was not Equipped with the keypad on the door. I purchased the applicable key pad and started snooping around with Forscan. I have found how to get it turned on in the APIM, and I can see it on the screen. It is asking for the factory password. I assure this is the one provided with the keypad. My question is where do I put the password so the Apis will recognize it and allow the keypad to work correctly? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

My 2019 had to be programmed by the dealer. Not sure what the 2024 models need.

Yes, this is one feature that Youtube (other models -F-150) and the Ranger -Do NOT match, the 5G anyways as there is NO IPC or APIM integration to view the stored code. It is strictly IDS/FDRS and the Keypad. The Password it is looking for is the - Code on the (CARD) that came with the unit (Factory Code) once that is entered you can then change to personal code.

If you lose that (CARD) there is ZERO way to retrieve it and must replace the keypad with new.
Many posts on here about (used trucks) for that and have the Keypad and no card left in the glove box.

Thank you all for the information. It is going to the Dealer Tuesday to have a Spray In bed liner installed, so they can program it while it’s there.
