DIY wire mesh “molle style” panels

Just thought I would post some picts of the wire mesh molle panels I made for my truck bed, thought maybe someone would find it helpful

first I designed the brackets to mount off the factory cargo hooks, the back corners are just angle, the middle ones are flat bars welded to a 1” square tube at the top which I used 2 rivnuts for, and the front corners are Z shaped plate that I had the local steel shop bend

It’s for a slide, the side are temp as I am not 100% how I wanted to make them. I will post that build later and would love some ideas / feedback on tackling the sides / integrated sleeping platform. I have v1 done but want to make some improvements

Okay how much for oyu to make a second set? that looks tight neough I can even use my swing case still,

The regular molle panels would interefere to much for other things I want to do , those look like they wouldn't

I would if I could, I don’t have a workshop, had to do it in a friends driveway. I figured out a design, made a cardboard template for the Z shape angles near the cab, had a local steel shop bend them. I cut, ground and fit everything and had to pay a welder I found on Craigslist to weld the wire to the brackets, I finished the rest….. I need a shop again lol

If you find out pass it along. I need something similar for new Tent Trailer. Molle panels are such a rip off

I got it from the local steel shop, it’s been awhile so I will go measure it this week and reply back.
