Created some real DIY (janky) recovery track mounts for the interior side of my bed. Not gonna lie this could be done 1000X better but I unfortunately live in an apartment and don't have the space or tools to make a real nice one currently (hopefully be outta here soon so I can make a perfect one with some welding and black steel!).

Anyways... thought I'd give you guys a look at what I did.

If you're interested in dimensions, I have the OFFROAD BOAR Tracks and can provide measurements if curious. Still have to figure out my locking mechanism until I get a bed cover.
Its just a bunch of aluminum bars from home depot, bunch of bolts, wall anchors, and weatherstripping to protect my bed interior from rubbing and scratching the metal.

Man this looks sick, love that colour and how it matches. I got mine in safety orange unfortunately.

I've been thinking about making the same thing basically but you beat me to the punch. What'd you use for the points to bolt through?

Sorry to ressurect such an old thread.

My prototypes. These are out of nylon similar to cutting board material and reinforced with some aluminum L channel
Where'd you get the material?

That's amazing! Do they come cut like that or are you a CNC wizard?

I'm not but work with a wizard. I think I'm gonna get him to cut them out of some aluminum and add arrow of the cut outs above and below the ones that exist. But they seem to be working awesome for me now. Thanks

How did you mount them to the sides?
