Guess I will have an extra!
Looking at the spot where the speakers go, i think it would be possible to fabricate something to hold two speakers. Would have to cut out where the speaker is supposed to mount

That would be great, otherwise your only hook up one channel.
As big as that speaker grill is its hard to believe the "awesome" Lariat B&O sys only has 1, 3.5" spkr!?
Post some pictures and maybe others can help

I have the B&O, that's the stock speaker. I have some SI M3 Carbons, I plan on putting one in at some point.

I installed dash speaker today. Used 1 infinity speaker as recommended. Put Dynamat under speaker. Pulled dash tray out. Ran speaker wire forward to tray then down. Lowered glove box like changing cabin filter. Pulled rug and side panel. Unplugged plug going into door. Looked up wire colors On chart that is posted earlier in thread. Orange/yellow is positive. Green and brown is right next to orange/yellow. Skinned wires are soldered. well worth the effort. XLT has no amp. Truck has navigation.

Not sure about only tapping one side for a single speaker. When you “pair” a tap in speaker with one already in line you half the ohms. So for instance it’s a 8 ohm system. One side is running 8 ohms and the other 4 ohms. That isn’t good for amplifiers. They run hot because of it. Better to balance the load and keep it symmetrical. Even then, don’t know enough about the Amps to know if you can run them at lower ohms than desired

Not a radio diy guy at all, but is it possible without too much difficulty to wire it to the radio or is the B/O radio the only one with a center speaker output??‍♂

Pretty sure the Lariat is the only build with a center channel. All lower installed is 4 Chan.

No it has its own screw holes located in dash. Grill is stand alone function only.
I pulled the cover out and see the place on my XLT to put speaker. But need the 2 bolts to attach does anyone have the Ford part # for screws/bolt required? I checked diagrams and cannot locate one.

It looks like those are the plastic retainers designed for self-tapping screws.

If so, any sufficient gauge sheetmetal screw at Home Depot/Tractor Supply will work fine.

Does anyone know how to attach the speaker cable to the factory speaker? XLT didn't have speaker harness in place.

Does the Radio has a plug in for center channel speaker? You might be able to find a mating connector on Amazon.
