I aso have trouble seeing mine on my 21.
I keep it set to auto then use the voice commands to set my desired temperature. I agree it can be quite distracting trying to change.

I had an 05 Silverado that had 2 sliders for temperature control of dual climate. That was quite simple to adjust without taking my eyes off the road.

Hopefully my next ranger that I'll get in 60,000 more miles will be easier to adjust. lol
Guess you'll have to wait for the 7G in 2031- the 6G's aren't much of an improvement:

My pet peeve is needing to have t-Rex ? arms for the door controls and other ergonomic design flaws
Just how long is your arm?
I AM the average they design for so a lot of the 'ergonomic' complaints leave me confused.

In my '14 Fusion you can voice tell climate to turn defrost or rear defrost. It will also move seat back for easy exit and entry. There is a button on the door that you program for seat position and outside mirror setting.
I miss those in the Ranger.

I have a 2019 XLT Ranger and the consul looks different. The 4wd drive switch is different and the USB slots are down in the under the dash plus there are no stripes across the radio and HVAC controls. Was this a special order? But I agree that the +/- symbols are hard to read especially in daytime.
Thanks for the correct information.

Well, in my two previous F150’s, my wife's previous Escape and her current Bronco Sport, my elbow didn’t hit he seat back in order to work the controls.

Obviously I have circus side show arms.

Funny as I had the 2023 F150 for a month while mine was getting some work and when I got back in my 2019 Ranger I told my wife the same thing! ?

I must apologize for my previous post.
After your reply I really became aware that the switch position is marginal at best for my oh so average body size and I can easily see how anyone taller would have a problem with the placement.
I'll try to engage the brain before posting in the future.
