FYI, The original piece around the climate controls had a slight interference on the temp +and - rocker switches. I contacted them and they made the new ones with additional clearance. Use caution removing the backing and sticking it to the dash as the horizontal piece under the switches is thin and you could mess it up if it stuck hard and you had to remove and reposition. Overall easy install. Bret

So I finally got my blue carbon sample. It is about the size of a fifty cent piece so difficult to tell how it would look. The color is a little lighter than the Lightning Blue, but not too horribly different.

I think it looks nice! Seems to match the blue in the dash lights real well.

The wife caught me looking at this and now she thinks I really nuts. ? So what else is new!

Like to see one that was done in body color or something other than wood grain. Really like it and the way it shows the seperation between controls
Rob
I’ve got one of these kits coming in Blackwood. It’s still a wood grain but more subtle than the brown. I’m thinking the greys in the wood grain should tie in nice with the grey on the dash. I’m hoping it provides enough contrast to the black buttons, it surely can’t be any worse than it is now. Sadly it’s been tied up at the border for a week already and hasn’t moved. I’ll post some pictures if and when it ever comes.

Installed my old farts faux wood dash applique from wooddash.com. I needed to break up some of the black dash ad this fit the bill. I paid more and had custom made area around the shifter that doesnt have the cutout for the 4x4 switch as I have a 4x2. These kits are more geared to super crew cab as there are pieces you cant use on the scab. Overall im very happy with the change and an unitended result was the applique for the climate controls kind of outlines the switches and makes then easier to see and use for me as im blind in my right eye. Stay cool today its HOT Bret

looks great but I would go with carbon fiber....however what I'd really like that isn't available is something to do the dash vents with the chrome (lime?) bezel just reflects to brightly and bothers my old eyes...don't know if the temperature variations from the air flow would cause them not to stay on

Ok....ugh. I have to stop looking at this Ranger site = $$$.
These look really cool and I’m interested.
If anyone does an XLT with anything black - thinking about the Sport section or possibly Blackwood - can you please post pictures?
Greatly appreciated. I think this would really enhance the interior.
Thanks!

I’ve got the Blackwood set coming, but I think it’s coming by mule....
Once it shows up I’ll be sure to post some pictures.
