Bought the truck to pull our trailer and to travel, my wife and I and our dog.
Unfortunately due to bad luck our beloved Boxer Boone had to be put down last week. 6 yrs old and a true pal. We are going to miss him alot.
Have fun with them while you can,
nothing better than a loving dog.

Like to see one that was done in body color or something other than wood grain. Really like it and the way it shows the seperation between controls
Thanks Rob
Sir
I'm not really versed on how to do it but make sure you research how you plan on doing it. Remember the "FORD approved" has 2 brains, not sure what they call them, whereas Redarc's "off the shelf" only has 1.
Thanks Rob
There are two Redarc controllers, the 4 wire which is a simple install which you seem to have. A "FORD approved" which has two, I'll call them brains, that ties into the 3rd brake light so that the emergency braking function works. More time consuming to install, not necessarily more...
The one (Redarc) controller is not 4 wires!
Not so easy since you need to tie into the 3rd brake light, which means removing trim and partial headliner removal.
I had mine installed at Bill Brandt Ford in Brentwood, (norcal). 2hrs labor, works great. Was about 360$. Give them a call.
Thanks Rob

The extant 1140 seal is the stuff I ordered from two suppliers, sent both back. Not the same width or thickness/profile I received 4 months ago. Seems they changed the product. And packaging says not for Rangers. Does not seem thick enough to fill gap.

Let's us know how this works and...
Where would I get the tailgate seal to fill gap between tailgate and body. Bought some when I first purchased truck and want to redo it, but can't find receipt.
Have bought from 2 different suppliers, both sent the Extang product and both were the same thing. Thinner and narrower and on package...
Just finished a 3k trip, SF bay area to Jackson Hole Wy, through Ca, Sierra mts, Nevada, Idaho, Jackson Hole and back and here's what I think.
20 Lariat supercrew, dealer installed Redarc controller, lots of functional add ons, bed cover, carpet, boxes etc.
20' trailer about 4500 loaded, 500 tw...
Get a copy of the Redarc item from the Ford accs catalog and take it to the guy who quoted you the price. Have him sign, date and price installed.
Exactly what I did. They tried to not honor the price after install. Talked to mgr. They honored it. Its not our fault they don't know there...
Bought truck in March 2020,
20 Ranger Lariat Supercrew with all the options
Fx4, sport, 4x4 etc., specifically too tow our 20' dual axle trailer. About 4400lbs loaded.
Spent last couple months detailing out truck
Bed cover, swing out boxes, bed carpet, nerf bars, dealer approved and installed...
Picked up truck last night after " Ford approved tbc" installed. Took them about 3 hrs tech said and pretty straight forward and clean install.
300 for part, 360 labor, - 210 for Ford points. 450 total.
Feel better it's done, although could have done the non approved tbc for a lot less, at...
Just took truck in to dealer and different service advisor quoted 1hr. Asked him if he had ever had one installed there before and said " yes, just a matter of hooking up the 4 control wires and programming"
Had to explain to him what was involved and he said it will take more than 1hr.
Should...
Having dealer install one tomorrow. Went there right after purchase of truck and ordered part, nailed down a labor price of 2 hrs at 160 per. Advisor signed a receipt acknowledging labor time.
When I went back to setup day to install, same guy tried to weasel his way out of the price saying he...
