That's one way to thin out the heard by letting them do it themselves.

Is it me, or does anyone else get the feeling that the fabric of our society is fraying around the edges.... (i'm trying to be optimistic here)

Society is broken now and the younger generation can't handle anything now. This stems from Everyone gets a trophy and parents not disciplining their kids.

I've watched Fridays With Frank for years and you can see it getting worse just on the videos. This girl has a complete meltdown over a simple traffic stop and totally disrespects her grandmother. What's going to happen when something really bad happens in her life?

Yeah the excuses they use are, well, dumb at times but I guess they think they have to try. lol

He is really cool and I'd love to meet him but not like that. I love when he asks "where are you from"? Then they say California and he says "Welcome to America".

Many many years ago, I believe I was in high school, my brothers friend had a pool at their house and we were over one day in the summer (no parents home obviously) and we were doing the exact same thing, and I almost suffered the same fate. Difference was this was a 2 story house and they had those Spanish type of shingles on the roof. It was my turn to jump, took off and when I planted my foot to jump, the shingle came loose causing a bad jump and I barely cleared the edge of pool . Needles to say I was done jumping for the day lol.

I had a good friend get paralyzed from something similar. He jumped off a pool ladder, slipped and hit head first snapping his neck and has been in a wheelchair ever since.

We had a large pond near us where we got the bright idea one night (after heavily drinking) to go there and jump out of the tree into the water. It was a deep pond but once you got to the branch to jump from you had to clean another branch hanging out farther. We all did this many times and luckily no one ever got hung up on the branch but looking back it was dumb (really dumb!) and not one of my brightest moments.

Growing up in Hawaii there were many places to jump from into water, whether it was the Waimea Bay Rock or Sacred falls (closed since 1999) or Maunawili falls, or just bridges over rivers, never thought of the consequences of "what if". Looking back I definitely did some sketchy stuff in some sketchy places lol.
