Ford Rangers received a all green arrows up on the 20 and 21 and nearly all green on the 19. They say however that the handling is clumsy - compared to what? perhaps a Mustang. Check out the ratings on the attachment. I can say this: with 10k miles NOT ONE problem with mine.

It puts a smile on my face to see the Tacoma sinking like a ship with a 51 score! ? It's not all that far behind the GM twins either and we all know how great those trucks are. I bet the Taco fan boys still don't believe it and think Ford paid CR for the rating. lol:giggle:

Apparently CR didn't poll people on this forum else they would know about all the issues.
For clarity, that was sarcasm.

Interesting how transmission, drive, and suspension can change so drastically between 19 and 20. Was there a change I wasn't aware of?

Software updates. As far as suspension it was likely us vs. competition.

CR polls the subscribers about their vehicles to create their matrix - I'm sure I'm not the only one here that helped contribute to the good rating lol. And it's interesting to see the Taco owners declining love affair.

That's okay, maybe the Ranger's "clumsy" handling will balance out with my clumsy handling!

Thanks for the attachment, I like reading this kind of thing.

Hi Dave,

CR creates the answer that they want and then develops the data to fit the answer...

best,
Phil

try again. that is NOT how they operate. Do they make mistakes YES. Do they generally get it right? pretty much yes.
