I see all the complaints on this forum the same way. No one is forcing you to put up with bad leather stitching. No one is holding a gun to your head while you smell your oil.

And some people don't know what quality or defects are. At least it gives those looking for used ones some things to look out for.
Not everyone knows how to put out a quality product and the internet is a great place to unite those with similar issues and get big enough groups together to file complaints with the NTSB and hopefully get recalls for all and attention from manufacturers. Together we are stronger and smarter.

Could be that for the cost of a new vehicle we’d expect stupid little things to be correctly don’t. But the dealer shares in that. If you’re willing to pay good money for a new product that is not correct then your money is not well spent. For me it makes no sense to continue a brand loyalty she. The brand is not loyal to its consumers.

I like my 5g and its not a total poop box. however, i bought it new an at least expect it to do as ford said it would and honor the warranty that ford puts with it. they also removed a list of parts and features without telling the customer despite keeping the price up. so screw ford. i dont even bother will the dealer for warranty anymore. i just take it to a shop I trust and pay. the dealers just lie cheat and drain time from my life while not fixing things.

It's the tailgate bushing that's squeaking. Put some white lithium grease in there or a shot of silicone spray and it'll go away.
