yes, its tough. Usually isn't passable till at least late July due to snow driftsI'm definitely down for a group ride. I've been thinking about running red cone soonish. Has anyone done that before? It looks cool on YouTube.
Thanks. Which trail is that in the video? I did Bull Park in Pike National Forest a month or so ago and it made me order the rear shock skid plates.yes, its tough. Usually isn't passable till at least late July due to snow drifts
Nevermind i see its red cone now. Most videos I've seen didnt show that bottom part.yes, its tough. Usually isn't passable till at least late July due to snow drifts
yeah, the trail to red cone is long and rough and has a lot of difficult sections, but the top gets the most attention because it's incredibly scenic and pretty stunning when you're up there, makes you forget about all the effort it takes to get there.Nevermind i see its red cone now. Most videos I've seen didnt show that bottom part.
Just made my reservations. My Ranger and I will definitely be there from August 1 to about the 10th.Okay, Is anyone going to be in the collegiate peaks this weekend? I’ll be out in the area to do some wheeling and camping.
As for a multi group meet up it’s looking split for the first and second weekend of August.
@Ranger305 will be coming up from Florida the first week of August around the Ouray area as well. @Sandman maybe we can run the trail you went on again? Would you be okay with that or do you know of other trails in the area to run?
I’ll do some route planning and see what kinds trails are down there.
Anyone else is welcome to chime in on trail suggestions and when they can go.
