Hi all,
I've been running the LMS 91-93 performance tune for the past 33k miles but have since added AFE charge pipes, an S&B CAI, and soon a SPD 3" downpipe. I'm happy with all of it, but looking for a bit more. LMS says their tune will automatically account for those things, but I'm not sure that's the full story. They also tell me that their (email) tune is a true "custom" tune, but many would disagree with that. And I understand that the canned tunes leave some power on the table too, to be safe.
So, I'm wondering what a true custom/dyno tune might get me. Forget about the tune cost for a minute, are there any real performance gains to be seen?
Since I'm not interested in speculation (I've already read enough forums on that)... has anyone ever gone from a canned tune to a true custom (dyno) tune and can show a difference via dyno charts?
