I can tell you as someone who did online business once that processed credit card sales. Customers can charge back on you even without sending back the products. On top of that the card company charges you a fee for the charge back as well as the credit they issued to the customer. Vendor is on the losing end no matter what you say or do! Charge back the sale all knowing you did return the item. Wash your hands and walk away!
Thanks Rick, but I have already open a dispute against them with my credit card company. I will let them handle it at this point. However, thanks for that info just in case I get scammed again!

Similar situation, not truck stickers but a wallet.
GF bought a new wallet for Christmas from Kings Loot- do not deal with these clowns!
I looked at it and didn't like it.
Had to send them pictures of all sides of the box to prove it wasn't opened. Are you Fing serious, I wonder how many people they get with that rule.
Online contact only no phone numbers, took 2 weeks to hear back from them, and they only give 30 days to return things. Wanted us to send them a tracking number when we sent it out. I'm sure they would refuse it if it was 1 day over 30.
Horrible reviews on their Facebook page about their return plan. And these people are damn dumb dumb or they don't care because they leave them up and give a canned apology response to each one.
BBB reports about them as well.
Basically one of those thin metal wallet outfits that dudes love I guess. Just give me plain old cow flesh.
Again stay away from Kings Loot

Learning on how to put graphics on my SCCA race trucks was an adventure until Livernios and I learned how to do it easily. The worst we encounter was the 5' long General Tire decal as the Saleen Team in the SCCA RaceTruck Challenge series was sponsored by General Tire. The trick we learned was a spray bottle of soap and water with a squeegee to displace the soapy water. Live and learn... We

Yes that is the trick. Years ago I owned a 18’ Crownline that needed new graphics. The graphic was @ 16’ on each side of the boat. It took the guy at an RV stripes and graphics business @ 15 minutes to restripe the boat using soapy water and a squeegee. He floated the graphic on, stood back to verify that it was straight and properly positioned, and then used the squeegee to set the graphic and displace the water. I could not believe how easy it was.

People like shit on 'evil' Amazon and Jeff Bozo, but no one beats customer service like they do. No other vendor online will take returns with little or no questions and issue a refund within 24 hours after dropping the product off at a designated location.

That is so true. After the huge hassle I just went through on eBay, I'll be doing more business with Amazon for sure. Not that I don't already but now eBay is off the list and I still need tow mirrors for my old 2500hd.

Or buy a real Trijicon RMR, put their airsoft fake in the box and return it. Which normally would be a "not my problem" sort of thing, but numerous reports of people buying stuff and getting counterfeits.

Never happened to me, but I was quick to pickup on a few rules for buying on Amazon;

1. Always buy directly from "Shipped by Amazon" if at all possible.

2. Stay away from the "Used, Like New Condition" slightly cheaper pricing on an item you are looking at. Prime candidate for the counterfeit bait and switch.

3. Reviews are generally useless; lots of shill accounts, but also to some company's defense a lot of negative reviews are just dumb ass consumers who don't know what they are buying or how to get it to work. You will have consumers leave 1 star reviews because of their own fault of not reading an item description. Lots of light bar consumers leave this type of review: "Light bar came and just has 2 wires exposed on the harness, can someone help me on how to get it to work? Terrible product"

4. Don't feel bad about returning something just because it doesn't live up to your expectations. I've read a lot of articles where people opine about how great Amazons Refund policy is, but discourage people from using it because they just didn't like the item. lol what? No, just no. That is now how any of this works. Not on Amazon, nor in a box store. Amazon understands while you may be returning something that works fine, there is a high probability you are going to recycle the refund back into their system on another product. I've done this countless times to sift through bullshit chinese lights to find gems in the rough so to say.

5. Pay attention to the product pictures, if the product has variations from photo to photo that is a red flag it is going to be a crapshoot which displayed product you will receive. I learned this one buying some "smoked" marker lighting. Had I been paying attention I would have caught some of the product photos were photochopped to darken the lenses. They showed up as clear lenses. Easy fix though, back to Amazon you go.

6. Not really a tip, but just funny; most Chinese companies are terrible in a highly comical way of photochopping their product onto other photos. Like 2" ditch lights that are displayed on a Jeep and are as big as headlights.

I've only had that happen on items that basically have to be used to find out if they are worth a shit. When I was testing out some different transparent amber vinyls that was a common result.

I had to return my first ARB 8ft x 8ft awning because the pvc bag had a rip in it. Dropped it back off at UPS no charge and a new one sent. I can't imagine the shipping fees they ate shipping the original to me, shipping the original back, and then shipping a replacement.

That awning caused them to get hit with the 5+ foot dimension penalty fee three times and it weighs a hefty amount.

I would imagine it would have actually cost them less to offer me the damaged awning for free. I would have taken the offer then bought a replacement pvc bag for $50 from ARB. lol

If you all remember back years ago when Amazon wasn't such a huge company their return policy wasn't so great or easy. They did accept returns but it was just like everyone else policy. Now that he's one of the richest men in the world it's easier for him to either have you keep smaller items (they're not worth the shipping and processing to return them) and they have easy return and credit policies. That's how he keeps you hooked on Amazon and making him richer while closing the doors of a lot of small businesses. If you remember a few years back they started raising their minimum free shipping from $25.00 gradually up to $45.00. The only reason they lowered it was because Walmart and a few others started offering free shipping with a $25.00 minimum in order to compete with them. Walmart has done the same thing and has destroyed the mom and pop stores all across the country.

While Amazon is "convenient" to buy from I do my best to shop anywhere else but there. Sometimes you don't have a choice because certain items are hard to find elsewhere. But if you look at the manufacturers website often times the price is the same or cheaper than Amazon. 303 products are a great example. Gold Eagle has so many sales (just sign up for email alerts) you can buy their products 20%-50% cheaper than at Amazon. I've seen so many posts here where some will say how much they dislike corporate America and rich people yet they continue to feed Bezos all their money. lol

It is all about convenience and instant gratification I think. I have to admit, I get sucked into the Amazon universe too often, but sometimes there just are no good alternatives.

A related but different story - we used to have a real home town lumber yard here where I live. They had been around for almost 100 years - starting as a lumber mill and morphing into a pretty full service lumber yard over the years. I loved buying stuff there. I didn't always get exactly what I came for but I always got something that worked for whatever project I was doing. They went thru a triple whammy about 20 years ago - there was some construction work that made it difficult to get to the place for like 18 months, a Home Depot opened up just down the road, and then the owner got sick. The ended up closing a couple years later. I think the business existed for something like 96 years. I'm not sure it could have withstood Home Depot even if the other things hadn't happened.

We all need to remember to support local businesses so that they are there when we need them otherwise they will disappear completely.

Most items that are for sale on a manufacture's website are also sold thru Amazon distribution by that same vendor. And many of the vendors are small businesses.
If I go to Gold Eagle website, 303 in a 32oz bottle is $30.99. If I go to the Gold Eagle store on Amazon, it's $20.50. And since I have Prime membership, free shipping whereas Gold Eagle is free
shipping over $50.

If I need a couple of pieces NOW, I'll go to the local yard and pay the extra cost as a matter of connivence. But in this economy, paying 10 - 25% extra just to support a local vendor is not being fiscally responsible.

Like I said if you sign up for their email alerts you get their flash sales which are anywhere from 20%-50% off and sometimes free shipping. So take that retail price and it'll be the same or less than at Amazon. Plus these businesses have to pay a percent to Amazon for the sale so now that's less in their pocket. In these times they're doing everything just to survive and yes even selling things on Amazon to get their product out there. I'd rather pay a little extra and patronize the business direct because it helps them survive. If you want to help Bezos buy another yacht and keep destroying the small business that's your right. Being a small business owner I'll do everything I can to NOT buy from them and help the little guy any way I can.

You're right it does make it tough with next and same day shipping. Heck I don't have Prime but because Amazon has built so many warehouses here I usually get stuff within a few days.

I've cut my purchases down to nearly nothing these past few years. When they were allowed to stay open during the Covid shutdowns it really rubbed me the wrong way. If anyone could survive a shutdown it's them along with Walmart and the others. Yet they killed MANY small businesses doing that. I'm sure you remember many years ago they said (I think it was the phone company?) was to big and needed to break up. So they broke them up into smaller companies across the country. Yet now Amazon basically rules the country and goes into cities getting huge tax breaks while putting the burden on the residents. So much for making the rich pay their fair share.
