Built in transmission dip stick?

With all of the transmission fluid level discussions I've never seen this mentioned. Article talks about the trasmission having a built in dipstick. Do our Rangers have this?

It has a mini dip stick right up by the catalytic converter that is difficult to reach and check/add the fluid.
