Our 19 xlt came with these bridgestone 255/65R17 sized tires which we've had nothing but good to same about them, in fact, over the winter there snow traction was quite good. Now the bad news; At just over 20K of mileage the sipes are worn away on one, so they'll need to be replaced this fall. I've been running less PSI than what ford recommends and they have been seasonally rotated. What we'll do now and this is what many people here do in the lake snow belt, we'll get another set of steel rims and have summer ties on one set, and winters on the other. Of course the summer will be mounted on those fancy original rims. Was anyone else got so few miles on these tires?? Give me some time and I'll post photos of these worn tires. :crying:
Same tires on my 19. IMO Bridgestone tires blow. Only thing I did not like about my Ranger, but I am not replacing new tires.

Have 30k on them now. Will be replacing before winter. My 2014 f150 came with Goodyear. I got 70k miles out of those. Would expect more than 30k, but in this case I was hoping they would wear at 5k....

And good in snow???? These things suck in the snow. I live in the NE Ohio snow belt. I would NOT recommend these. Worste snow performance i have had.

Going with Toyo Open County AT3. Expect many more miles and much better snow performance out of these.

We average over 200" here per year here. So yes, we drive on snow.

.
I told myself that too when I bought it, I made it to 11k before throwing them away for a set of Firestone destinations

Replaced my '19 Bridgestone at 30k with 20% left last month. Just not worth it for wet condition even in the dry ass Southern California.

Seems lots of folks have got poor mileage from these OEM bridgestone 255/65R17 tires.

Hey folks. Went to get a slow leak from a screw in my tire fixed today. Guy measured tread depth and it was below safe limit, and they wouldn't fix tire due to liability issues. I have 10,775 miles on them!

I called Bridgestone and am having local authorized dealer inspect them tomorrow. Might want to replace all of them. I do only city driving. Any recommendations for good alternatives that might last longer?

:p Wow, then I know my tires with 30k must be dangerous to be driving on.

I have 23K on mine an they are still above the wear bars. I rotated them like 3 times so far. Mine had 40 psi in them when I bought the truck. I lowered it to 32. High pressure could lead to early wear in the middle of the thread. I don't seem to dislike these tires as much as some in here but I haven't had a truck in a decade so I don't have much to compare.

Good luck with the tire dealer. I tried this once an was told the warranty is pro rated so since I had like 30K on the tire I had used most of their expected life an they offered something like 15% off a replacement set of the same brand tires. Tire choices are different for everyone depending on if you off road, do a lot of highway miles, ride quality an noise. Discount tire direct and tire rack have lots of reviews up so you can get a feel for what to expect.

OP not sure if you have the HT or AT version but I have a sport 4x4 with the AT version of the 255/65/17 and I just replaced mine after 2 years and 32K miles. They were starting to drive badly and wearing funny always ran at the door placard 30 psi and its partially my fault for not getting my alignment checked sooner but I just had a alignment done after 2 years because the inside corners were worn completely down on the tires, also 2 of the tires have patches/plugs for flat repair and just felt it was time to get some new tires on the truck.

Upgraded to the stock FX4 size in 265/65/17 and went with Yokohama Geolander G015s ?

it makes me feel better with only 24k miles that I need to replace. I do use the go faster pedal A LOT and eat them up. secont thought surprised they lasted this long. I've never had bridgestones before and probably never again unless they come with a car. Really not impressed with them in the snow

Right at 30k and made an appointment next Tuesday to have 265/70/18 Michelin’s LTX/MS mounted. ($70 Michelin rebate and $50 credit to sign up for TD’s credit card.)

Took the wheels off this morning and removed the weights and glue.
As mentioned before two tires are worn down to the second wear bar, the other two down to the first wear bar and I rotated them ever 5k.

Well, we rotated them with each oil change at 5000 miles and reduced the high psi set at the dealership. Seems like these tires have a poor wear life. At 25k now (give or take) they are shot and will be replaced in the spring. I say spring because we'll be switching to snow tires soon.

My local tire dealer says that OEM tires are cheap and never wear very long. Is that the case?
