Ever since I swapped to led's, I have noticed that my driver's ( pretty sure ) lowbeam occasionally turns off very briefly and then back on. Its very quick and your mind might be asking, did that just happen? I cannot seem to find any correlation as to why it might be happening. I've run two completely different sets of leds and both are doing it. Anyone else notice something like this?

I've noticed that the passenger side light turns on a split second before the drivers side (with all lights, fogs, lows, and highs). Hard to notice with the halogens, but noticeable with LEDs due to the instantaneous start. Not necessarily the same thing, but maybe their related in some way. I'm not sure. I don't know enough about the wiring and systems of the headlights to know for sure.

I've already noted this in another thread. It did it with the Hikari and currently does it with the Auxito. I can't tell if it's an individual light or both, but it doesn't bother me.

From my understanding, its the Body Control Module testing to see if the headlight is operational or burnt out. You can fix this issue by running an Anti-Flicker harness aka capacitor inline. When the BCM momentarily cuts power the the headlight, the capacitor will discharge and keep your headlight on (instead of flickering).

I initially was thinking that there was something turning on and off and the led was seeing the load change, but your explanation seems much more plausible. I happen to have a couple of those anti flicker thingy's, but I'm not sure if the connectors are correct. Will report back!!

Edit:. Damn it. Wrong connectors. I'll order some stuff and report back.... again....

You could be right as well. I know the drivers for LED's can be a little finicky. Trying to retrofit these newer vehicles with LEDs or HIDs can be a headache. I had a 2016 Fusion was a pain in the butt to retrofit.... too many night spent researching this topic.

Either way, I think a capacitor may be the solution as the headlight off time is very small. Another thing I thought of, but haven't looked into yet, is the possibility of ForScan disabling the bulb out. This might push me over the edge to finally get ForScan.

I can check forscan to see if it's an option. I did change the setting so that my front park lights are on as drl only.

It might be a day or so before I come back with an answer, just FYI

I don't know if it will work, I'll find out if it still blinks tomorrow evening . This is from the forscan forum for an 18 F150.

Front lamps: BCM 726-27-01 = X_XX XXXX XXXX

Change from 1 to 0.

This is not correct. As seen in the forscan wiki, this disables hyperlink when you replace the turn lamps with led.

My LED low beams do this and I feel like it’s the Drivers side bulb too.
