We got our first snowfall over the weekend. I know not to use a broom to remove the snow. Was looking at the different push/scraper type snow removers on Amazon. Not looking for the brush type, but the type that won't mar the paint. Any one have a recommendation? I see prices range from $10 on up. I don't mind paying for a good one if durable, some of the cheaper ones got just ok reviews but said to expect only one season out of them.

Saw someone using a leaf blower on some YouTube video. Haven’t tried yet but looked effective.

Just ordered one of these myself. My neighbour swears by it.

Just noticed something - look at you with the fancy, official-looking new plaque and all. ?

I simply get the "snow plow" from the auto parts stores here. They are great for pushing snow off without damaging the windows and windshield. I also use remote start in combination to get the ice off

I'm considering Bosch GBL 18V-120 PROFESSIONAL for snow removal.

For scraping the windows a separate scraper might be easier to put in the door pocket. I do however have the electrically heated windshield, rear window & mirrors so I really don't scrape anything but the driver & passenger windows.

I have a dedicated broom that is used only for cars in my driveway. It makes for quick work when we’re at home.

That's one of the brands and styles I saw on Amazon. The one without the headlights is the same otherwise. They were pretty inexpensive but had mixed reviews... my take away from reading reviews, they are ok but don't expect much more than one Winter's use out of them. For $10 or so, I guess it's worth a try.

I heard about doing that if it's a light fluffy snow... this weekend's snow ending up having a top layer of crusted snow.

I'm not familiar with that. Is that the brand name (Snow Plow)?
I'm pleasantly surprised by how fast the Ranger's defroster works... compared to my 18 year old Mountaineer.

I know using broom bristles isn't good for the paint, so I had to make shift something for now. I took an old towel and tied it up around the broom bristles.

I don't know about other states, but in PA it's the law that snow has to be cleared off the vehicles so it doesn't slide off and blow/hit other vehicles on the road. This weekend's snow had a frozen top layer and it could easily have blown off driving down the road so I had to clear it off.

I worked at a car lot briefly many moons ago an they had those "snowjoe" looking snow brushes an you could clear a car very quickly. I got one but not a telescoping one for the ranger an it works well. I figured I didn't need to pay for a telescoping one since I planned on keeping it in the bed. The leaf blower wouldn't work on the wet heavy snow we have. Those small battery blowers are great for cleaning a shop or drying a car/motorcycle.
