So true!its just poop ,cleans right up...
It's definitely a lot better when it's just straight up snow and can leave it in 4hi, compared to on and off snow and bare pavement mix. Sand / weight in the back made a huge difference for me.I got my 4x4 ranger past fall and got to test it out a good amount through the winter as well. I love how it handles in the snow, feels really safe. Even during the winter storm in 2+ ft of snow the traction was awesome (I didn't have to go into work that day but obviously had to go on a snow adventure).
I live in michigan and I think in areas that see even at least one or two occasions of significant snowfall a year, a car that drives well in snow is definitely an essential investment, especially living in a hilly area I see too many cars every year that are stuck or have spun off...
Best I ever had was Toyo open country at/2 which is now at/3. Good in , mud, and on pavement. Of course your results may vary. I've ran bfg, general, cooper, and many others. The toyo was my favorite all round tire. Had 3 peaks rating. They will be my next set after the factory Hankooks wear outIf it's any consolation, the Bridgestone tires on my XL aren't anything to write home about either. I'm thinking Vredenstein or Continental/General this fall. Maybe Yoko Geolandar -- something with severe snow service rating. Does anyone have any winter favorites?
I'll check them out, Mike. Thanks.Best I ever had was Toyo open country at/2 which is now at/3. Good in , mud, and on pavement. Of course your results may vary.
