Thanks. Trying to help the creatures while I still can. There’s some great pictures Joel!!!
Trust me when I tell you they are very quick having rescued and transported a few of them as well.Had a hawk land on my neighbors garbage can. Right after taking the picture he took off and grabbed another small bird that was flying by. I knew they were quick but man he took off like a rocket and tagged that bird like he was on nitrous.

A little tough to tell but might be a Coopers Hawk. We have them here and they love catching the mourning doves.Had a hawk land on my neighbors garbage can. I've seen them dive by my bird feeder 8' off the ground (with roof overhang) snatching the bird off the tray never slowing down. It is literally a blur, and the victim never sees what hit him. I have 3 feeders in the back yard and a pair of hawks are always nearby at feeding time, And it not just birds, they flew under a 6" high steel ramp 6' wide, came out the other side with a rabbit that thought it was safe!Had a hawk land on my neighbors garbage can. It is amazing how fast they move and can strike in seconds. One minute he's sitting there then next he's gone and you saw a few feathers floating by. lol I wanted to put a couple bird feeders up here but after checking around it's not a great idea. I guess a few had done it and they ended up with roof rats!I've seen them dive by my bird feeder 8' off the ground (with roof overhang) snatching the bird off the tray never slowing down.
