Going to be replacing my UCA’s for the third time now because the ball joints Rough Country uses just don’t last. (Yes, I know what everyone is thinking. RC is a low-level brand and I shouldn’t have bought their products in the first place… That’s a discussion for another time!)

Been shopping around, looking at different options and brands. I found a set of BDS control arms that come with Moog ball joints. Anyone have experience with these? I know Moog is a solid brand, I’ve heard good things about them. I’ve heard of BDS but don’t know much about them.

On another note, I’ll be due for replacing shocks shortly. I currently have a 3.5” lift that consists of strut spacers on factory coils and shocks. Can’t decide if I should stick with this setup and just replace shocks OR replace the whole setup with preloaded struts… I’ve heard good things about Eibach and OME. I’d like to keep the 3.5” lift that I have. Might swap the rear leafs out for a multi-leaf pack later but that’s a project for another day.

I have a 21' Tremor. I went with SPC uppers as they are adjustable. I also put Eibach Pro2'a all the way around. I put the 2"spacers I had on the Foxes on the Eibachs so I could raise it without using so much of the coil over. I could not be happier. I do't know what a shop charges. I do every thing myself.

How much lift do the pro 2’s get you? I’d assume 2” (level) but I’ve been looking up so many part numbers I can’t keep them straight in my head lol

If I’m reading your post correctly, you basically combined a preloaded (lifted) strut assembly with a spacer as well?

The Pro2's are adjustable. So you can set them where you want them. I had 2 2" level pucks from Ranger Lifts. So I put them on there so I would extend the Pro's out that much. But before I put them on there I used just the Pro's themselves. It was still a great ride and handled well. Did not go off road like that so I can't comment on that.

My Eibach pro 2’s were preset at 2.5”. I adjusted them up to both be at 3” to adjust for the sag on the drivers side. Super easy process.
