It’s sitting flush. If I machine press it in with one piece frozen and the other heated it still wouldn’t fit. I’ve been told it might be the f150 kit. I tried pressing it in slightly and nothing

At this point I’m going to ask them to resend me the ranger kit since it’s the second issue I’ve experienced and might just think the upper and lower control arms dont go for the kit

Update, I emailed BK hoping they reply soon. Rigs been on jack stands for about 2 months now

I bought the tool for it, I’ve tried smacking it a lot of times, I’ve tried everything in my power and ended up paying $350 for a local shop to do it all for me. The risk did not pay out for the reward. If I messed up the thread I’d have to buy a whole new axle

Pros of going bigger is more clearance, more grip if you air down, more aesthetic and cons would be noise depending on how big and pattern as well as lower mpg. I added sound deadening all on the inside of my rig so I’m not much help on what would be loud or quiet.

We got it all token care of. They sent the wrong cv shaft

I got my new one from Baja kits and they confirmed it was the wrong one

So I did some counting….. The tripod has 27 grooves The cv shaft has 29 spindles on both sides Do I machine press it in? ? Going to definitely email them

I could measure it but that requires my oem shaft to be stripped ?. I’ll google the length of the oem shaft. Do you know if they give the exact length of the shaft on Baja kids?

Yup! Did it both ways and still doesn’t make sense how it can even fit. I’m going to email them because my guess is that it goes to a f150

Question, did your cv shaft from Baja kits fit into the oem tripod bearing? Or you went with another company

For the peeps that have the Baja kits long travel did your cv axle shaft not fit into the tripod bearing? Or did I get sent the wrong cv shaft. The shaft is too big where even tapping it in won’t work
